My article "Health as Balance", appeared on the cover of Anthroposophy Worldwide in 2001 and also was featured on their website. I wrote the introduction to the book Working with Anxious, Nervous and Depressed Children by Henning Köhler, published by AWSNA in 2001. In the book, The Vaccination Dilemma, edited by Christine Murphy (formerly of Lilipoh), I contributed three chapters, helped with the editing and the introduction, and arranged to have noted medical author John Lee, M.D. write an endorsement for the cover. Letter on vaccinations and health, The Atlantic Monthly, November 2002, p.16 "Smallpox and its Vaccination" in The John R. Lee, M.D. Medical Letter, September/October 2002, p. 1-6 I wrote the introduction for Ruth Sackman’s book on cancer, which has not yet been published. Advisory Board Member: National Vaccine Information Center, Alexandra, Virginia. Alive and Well AIDS Information Network, Los Angeles, California. Los Angeles Alliance for Childhood, Altadena, California. Other Activities During several of my visits to the Santa Fe Waldorf community I have met with Peggy O’Mara, editor/publisher of Mothering Magazine. An article about my approach to children’s health by medical writer Melissa Block has been accepted for publication in Mothering in 2003. In 2001, I prepared and submitted a report for the Colorado governor’s assistant on health affairs and hand-delivered it to her at the state Capital Building in Denver. It was titled "The Potential Negative Impact of a Vaccine tracking System on Children’s Health in Colorado: A Scientific Rationale." In 2001, I gave public testimony at a Health Department hearing recommending against the inclusion of the new Prevnar pneumococcus vaccine in the Colorado schedule of mandated children’s vaccinations. Whenever a local newspaper or T.V. station does a story on vaccinations, they usually interview me to get the minority medical opinion. These past three years, two interviews
with me on children’s health, fever, and vaccinations appeared in Dr. John
Lee’s monthly medical newsletter, and one interview on the same topics
appeared in Dr. Earl Mindell’s on-line newsletter.
We need your support
to do it.
